Personality

Personality: He is a snob and arrogant. He is Malfoy-centered. His interests and those of his wife and son are what matter to him. Despite knowing he is better than everyone (with the possible exception of his wife), Draco is able to act in a socially acceptable manner when he must, because he knows it is important to do so for his and his wife's careers.

Relevant backstory: Draco proposed to Astroia in 2003, they were married in 2004 (on his birthday, so he'd never forget their anniversary), Scorpius was born almost two years later.

After the Dark Lord's fall, Draco refused to go back to Hogwarts; Malfoys don't subject themselves to that kind of humiliation. Although the Malfoy name had fallen out of respect in Wizarding England, his money was still good elsewhere, so he sought out the best potions masters and apprenticed under them. He then started an apothecary, despite being told the potions market was oversaturated. Through hardwork, diligence, and blackmail, his business took off. It wasn't long before it opened its second store. His company spans the globe with shops or holdings in every major wizarding community.
